Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine is a strategic focus for SBC as a science incubator. Explore Halyra’s regenerative actives, including extracellular vesicles and long-acting growth factors, and their role in the development of formulations for skin, scalp, and hair care.

Our Strategic Focus

Regenerative actives

SBC’s regenerative medicine introduction explores Halyra’s cell-free ingredients and their use in formulation development. These ingredients are distinct from living-cell therapies.

Halyra supplies characterised extracellular vesicles and recombinant growth factors. Its technical information supports the evaluation of ingredients for skin, scalp, and hair-care formulations.

Extracellular Vesicles

Halyra describes vesicles derived from plants and probiotic bacteria. These membrane-bound particles carry biological cargo and are characterised for formulation use.

Its range includes Centella asiatica-derived vesicles. “Extracellular vesicles” is used here rather than treating plant-derived particles as animal-cell exosomes.

Long-Acting Growth Factors

Halyra’s AvaFactor™ range comprises recombinant signalling proteins with a protective fusion domain designed to improve stability.

These factors can be evaluated alongside vesicles in formulation development. The technology and related product information belong to Halyra.

Formulation applications

Halyra presents skin-care and scalp-care formulation examples, including a facial serum and a scalp essence. Ingredient selection, concentration, compatibility, and supporting documentation require evaluation for each finished formulation.

These are active ingredients and formulation applications, not approved medical treatments. Evidence from an individual finished-product study does not establish outcomes for every ingredient, formulation, or application.
